This policy sets out the items that MeowX Pty Ltd (ABN 91 698 182 580) (we, us, or our) prohibit on our MeowX Go and MeowX Driver platform. Users and Drivers must comply with this policy in connection with all delivery jobs and requests.
1.Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited:
Illegal and Controlled Substances
Alcohol
Tobacco and vaping products
Illicit drugs and narcotics (including but not limited to cannabis, methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA and heroin)
Substances that are illegal to possess, supply or transport under any applicable Commonwealth, state or territory law
Medications and Medical Devices
Medications and therapeutic goods
Medical devices
Weapons and Dangerous Goods
Firearms, ammunition, and firearm components (including imitation firearms)
Knives, blades and other weapons prohibited under applicable law
Explosives, detonators, fireworks and pyrotechnics
Flammable, combustible or oxidising materials (including petrol, lighter fluid and industrial solvents)
Compressed gases (including aerosols exceeding standard consumer quantities)
Toxic, corrosive or radioactive materials
Documents
Identification documents, including driver’s licences, passports and photo cards
Legal documents, including contracts, deeds, court orders and notices
Original documents that cannot be replaced or reproduced
Ordinary documents (such as letters, printed materials, non-executed agreements and general correspondence) are permitted, provided they do not otherwise fall within a prohibited category under this policy.
Animals and Hazardous Biological Materials
Animals (including pets, insects, reptiles and birds)
Human remains, organs or tissue
Blood, bodily fluids or biological specimens
Medical waste or sharps
Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Goods
Items that are stolen or reasonably suspected to be stolen
Items obtained in breach of any law, court order or third-party rights
Counterfeit and Infringing Goods
Counterfeit currency, documents or identification
Goods that infringe any intellectual property rights, including counterfeit branded goods
Sexually Explicit Material
Pornographic or sexually explicit material
Any material involving the sexualisation of minors
High-Value and Financial Instruments
High-value items above $300 AUD, unless this is declared in the Request
Any item valued above $500 AUD
Any cash, bearer bonds, cheques payable to cash, or negotiable instruments
Precious metals or gemstones
2.User Obligations
By placing a Request, Users:
confirm that the item in the Request is not a prohibited item;
agree to declare the value of any item exceeding $300 AUD in accordance with the MeowX Go Terms;
acknowledge that we may cancel the Delivery Job if we reasonably suspect a prohibited item is involved in accordance with the MeowX Go Terms. Such cancellation may incur a cancellation fee, in accordance with our Cancellation, Refund and Claims Policy (available on the App); and
acknowledge that providing requests for prohibited items or providing false or misleading information about an item may result in suspension or termination of their Account pursuant to the MeowX Go Terms.
3.Driver Obligations
Where a Driver reasonably suspects that an item is prohibited under this policy, they must:
promptly notify us; and
refuse to collect or deliver the relevant item.
If a Driver collects or delivers a prohibited item, this may result in suspension or termination of their Account pursuant to the MeowX Driver Terms.
4.Amendments
We may update this policy at any time by publishing the updated policy to our App or website.
